Caregiving and Aging Resources

Caregiving by family members in our society is the primary source of support for individuals of all ages with physical, mental and chronic health care conditions. Thousands of Internet sites now have information relevant to parents, children of parents, spouses and others suddenly thrust into the role of caring for a loved one.

Caregiver web sites listed here include government, non-profit and commercial sites that include links to a variety of resources. Also includes are state specific sites with caregiver information links and articles which provide information of general use to family caregivers. If you cannot find the information you seek use the Eldercare web site - http://www.eldercare.gov or call the toll-free National Eldercare Locator at 800-677-1116 to find the telephone number of your local information and referral service.
