In September 2001, the Administration on Aging sponsored the National Family Caregiver Support Program: From Enactment to Action conference to highlight the new federal program. More than 700 representatives of the aging network, tribal organizations, service providers and others exchanged information and generated new ideas on family caregiving and systems development.
