Instructions for Downloading and Installing
the NORDIA Update for 2004 - (for States using NORDIA)
NOTE: The 1999 or 2000 version of NORDIA must be installed
on your computer for this update to apply correctly. (You can
install NORDIA using the 1999 or 2000 CD.)
Download the update and install it on your computer as follows:
- Step 1 - Save the Update File (NORS_UPDATE.ex_)
- When you finish reading these instructions, click on the "CLICK
HERE" link as instructed below, and a "Save as" window will
display.
- Click inside the File Name: box and rename the NORS_UPDATE.ex_
to NORS_UPDATE.exe by replacing the underscore with an 'e'
on the file name displayed
- Browse to the folder (directory) where the file will be
saved or create a new folder to save it in.
- Remember which folder you select. Then: Click "Save" to
save the file
- Step 2: Install the update
- Click your "Start" menubar button
- Choose "Run" from the menu
- Click the "Browse" button
- Go to the directory where you saved the NORS_UPDATE.exe
- Double click on NORS_UPDATE.exe
- Click the "OK" button in the new window that appears
- Click in the little box which has “overwrite without prompting” next
to it and
- Then click the "Unzip" button
- The updated executable will be installed automatically
- After starting the NORDIA program, entering your state
and year, you can check for the correct version number by
selecting the Help menu option and then clicking About
- A window will open and tell you that the NORDIA is version
2004.
