Historical Population Estimates Data
Data includes five tables showing five year age categories (50+, 55+,
etc.) with percentages, rankings, and two national maps. A sixth table
with data on the 60+ alone is used in the Older Americans Act formula
grants (Titles III and VII). These tables are also available as an Excel
spreadsheet files for downloading. The data (except for 2000) are estimates
as of July 1 for each year except for the 2000 Census (100% data) which
was as of April 1.

(50+, 55+, etc.) with percentages, rankings, and two national maps.
A sixth table with data on the 60+ alone is used in the Older Americans
Act formula grants (Titles III and VII). Four additional tables show
the number and percent of 60+ and 65+ population by race and Hispanic
status.
