Are You Experiencing Portion Distortion?

Portion sizes in the United States have been increasing no matter where food is eaten. If you’re experiencing portion distortion, remember that small changes in what you eat can make a big difference.

Recent scientific data tells us that many of us can turn the tide on weight gain by eating 100 fewer calories a day. This means cutting out a few bites of food each day to prevent weight gain.

During March, National Nutrition Month, enjoy healthy eating and a healthy you. Make way for Spring this year by matching your food choices to your lifestyle and energy needs. Choose enough food to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.

Then develop a personal fitness plan that fits your lifestyle. The key is to find a variety of activities you enjoy. You don’t need expensive equipment or complicated fitness programs.
