Joins Lt Gov. André Bauer for Retirement Living TV Show

HHS Assistant Secretary for Aging Josefina G. Carbonell will join South Carolina Lt. Gov. André Bauer at the 2007 “Call to Action” Leadership Summit in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Friday, April 27, 2007.

The day-long summit is designed to provide an opportunity for stakeholder organizations involved in providing senior services in South Carolina to hear directly from policymakers about recent changes in federal and state legislation on health and long term care. The Summit will kick off with a live Retirement Living Network TV show hosted by John Palmer, former NBC White House Correspondent. The South Carolina Call to Action Leadership Summit is a follow up to the U.S. Administration on Aging’s Choices for Independence National Leadership Summit held in December 2006.
