WASHINGTON, DC – Josefina G. Carbonell, Assistant Secretary for Aging, will speak at the Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) Annual Conference on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 1:00pm in Richmond, VA. 

Assistant Secretary Carbonell will discuss the importance of programs such as Meals on Wheels in providing critical choices for older Americans to remain independent. The lunch session will take place:
