U.S. Assistant Secretary on Aging, Josefina Carbonell, to Deliver Keynote at the Tennessee Governor’s Conference on Aging and Disability in Nashville For Immediate Release WASHINGTON, DC - Josefina G. Carbonell, assistant secretary for the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA), will deliver keynote address at the Tennessee Governor’s Conference on Aging and Disability on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, in Nashville. The Tennessee Governor’s Conference on Aging and Disability is convened by the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability in cooperation with the Tennessee Area Agencies on Aging and Disability. With the theme of the conference being “The Booming Population Bridging Today with Tomorrow: Choosing Tennessee for a Lifetime,” the Assistant Secretary will speak about the direction of AoA and the aging network in responding to the upcoming needs of the aging baby boomers.
