U.S. Assistant Secretary for Aging to Address Aging Issues at the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas Annual Meeting

Josefina G. Carbonell, assistant secretary for the Administration on Aging (AoA), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), will provide the keynote speech at the 5th Annual Luncheon Meeting of the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. on Friday, February 25.

Assistant Secretary Carbonell will share her vision for the future of long-term living and address some of the challenges the aging services network will face as the baby boomers come of age. She will provide a national overview of long term care trends with respect to promoting community-based care, encouraging promoting health and wellness, and supporting caregivers.

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. has partnered with the AoA on several community-based programs to improve the lives of seniors.
