2005 White House Conference on Aging to Hold Listening Session

The 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCOA) will conduct a public listening session in conjunction with the 2004 Florida Conference on Aging on Monday, August 30, 2004 in Miami, Florida.

The listening session, the first outside of Washington, D.C., will be convened by the WHCOA Policy Committee to solicit input from older adults and baby boomers, service providers, organizations and others who are interested in playing a role in the future of aging policy in the United States. Comments and recommendations from the listening sessions, which are being held throughout the country over the next year, will be considered as the WHCOA continues its preparation for the Conference to be held October 23-26, 2005 in Washington, D.C. White House Conferences on Aging have occurred once a decade since 1961.

When: Monday, August 30, 2004, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
