U.S. Assistant Secretary on Aging, Josefina Carbonell, to speak at NGA Policy Forum on May 20

Josefina G. Carbonell, Assistant Secretary for Aging of the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) will join a panel of national experts on Thursday, May 20, 2004, at a policy forum sponsored by the National Governors Association.

The Panel will provide a national overview of long term care trends—where the states stand today and where they are headed in the future with respect to: promoting community-based care, encouraging personal financial planning, promoting health and wellness, and supporting caregivers and in-home workers. Assistant Secretary Carbonell will specifically discuss home and community-based care.
The event will take place on:
