Legal Assistance

Legal Assistance Developers

Every state has a Legal Assistance Developer who provides leadership and technical assistance in the development and enhancement of quality legal and advocacy assistance for older persons in greatest economic or social need. Developers often have other roles and responsibilities, including coordinating their states' elder rights efforts and promoting alternative legal assistance delivery systems.

Developers refer persons in need of assistance to the appropriate legal providers for the elderly, help with outreach and public education, and direct the design and implementation of programmatic systems to improve the quality and quantity of legal assistance for the elderly in their individual states.

This mailing list is produced and maintained by The Center for Social Gerontology (TCSG), in conjunction with the National Association of Legal Services Developers (NALSD). If you know of any changes, please call TCSG at (734) 665-1126 or e-mail: tcsg@izzy.net.
