Protecting the rights of older people and preventing their exploitation,
abuse, and neglect continue to be our most important goals and that of
the national aging network. Predatory lending, home repair scams, and
other types of financial exploitation can have tragic consequences for
seniors. AoA provides critical consumer information, training, and technical
assistance and funding for programs that protect the rights of vulnerable,
at-risk older persons.
