Caring for the Caregiver

Support Groups

Many communities offer caregiver support groups, where people can get emotional support, share information and feel connected to others who are giving care. Support groups are organized through local Area Agencies on Aging and through local chapters of organizations such as the Alzheimer´s Association. Your local aging office can direct you to a support group that can help.

Check with your local aging agency about support groups
