Alzheimer’s Disease Demonstration Grants to States Program

Current Grants

The U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) has awarded almost $10 million in funding in for grant projects to develop innovative models of care for persons with Alzheimer's disease and their family caregivers. Starting July 1, 2007, AoA will support ADDGS programs in 38 states.

In 2007, the ADDGS program developed a new 18-month funding opportunity entitled, “Translating Evidence-Based Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia Direct Services Research into Practice.”  Three cooperative agreements were awarded in September, 2007.
