Assistant Secretary Carbonell Addressed Joint Session of HHS Aging & Disability Resource Centers and National Council on Independent Living

HHS Assistant Secretary for Aging Josefina G. Carbonell addressed a joint meeting of the HHS Aging & Disability Resource Center Initiative (ADRC) and the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) on Thursday, July 12, 2007, in Washington, D.C.

Assistant Secretary Carbonell discussed the importance of coordinated service delivery as a cornerstone for home and community-based care, and challenged participants to rethink how long-term care services are delivered.
