Community Living Assistance Services and Supports October 14th Report

CLASS Independence Advisory Council

Purpose:
To advise the Secretary of Health and Human Services on matters of general policy in the administration of the CLASS program, and in the formulation of regulations including with respect to (1) the development of the CLASS benefit, (2) the determination of monthly premiums, and (3) the financial solvency of the program.

Members:
HHS solicited nominations on November 16, 2010. Due to the suspension of the CLASS Program on October 14, 2011, the CLASS Independence Advisory Council is not scheduled to convene.
